Job SummaryÂ
The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily security operations at the assigned site, ensuring proper coverage, supporting team member performance, maintaining safety and compliance standards, and delivering strong client service. This role helps coordinate schedules, respond to issues on shift, coach officers, and make sure site expectations are consistently met.Â
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Supervise daily activities of security team members at the assigned locationÂ
- Ensure all posts are covered and staffing issues are addressed quicklyÂ
- Monitor officer performance, attendance, appearance, and adherence to site proceduresÂ
- Conduct shift briefings and communicate post orders, updates, and priorities clearlyÂ
- Support onboarding and training of new security team membersÂ
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and client concerns in a timely and professional mannerÂ
- Complete incident reports, shift logs, and other required documentation accuratelyÂ
- Partner with leadership to address performance concerns and recognize strong performanceÂ
- Help maintain compliance with company policies, client expectations, and safety requirementsÂ
- Perform routine site inspections to identify risks, gaps, or service issuesÂ
- Build a professional working relationship with the client and support day-to-day communicationÂ
- Assist with scheduling, call-offs, and coverage adjustments as neededÂ
Â
- Valid SIA Security Guarding or Door Supervisor Licence.Â
- Previous experience in a security role.Â
- Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferredÂ
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skillsÂ
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressureÂ
- Basic computer skills for reporting, scheduling, and communicationÂ
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays if neededÂ
- Knowledge of site procedures, safety expectations, and incident response practicesÂ
- Preferred SkillsÂ
