About The Job:

• We are seeking an Application Support Manager to help Business Owners and Application Managers navigate the application approval process.
• This role supports the design and implementation of applications in compliance with internal policies, frameworks, and cybersecurity procedures.
• The position acts as a key enabler for non-technical Application Managers by facilitating adherence to security governance requirements.
• The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of IT governance, cybersecurity processes, compliance frameworks, and stakeholder coordination.

Essential Job Functions:

• Project Coordination and Support: Keep the application approval process on track by providing administrative support, sending reminders, collecting required documentation, and facilitating communication between Application Managers, Business Owners, and Security teams. Ensure timely completion of all approval activities.
• Collaborate with Business Owners and Application Managers: Work with Business Owners and Legal teams to understand and document business, legal, and regulatory requirements. Support Application Managers in aligning business objectives with security requirements while ensuring accountability remains with the Business Owner and Application Manager.
• Assist in Technical Documentation: Help create and review architecture diagrams, flow matrices, and related technical documentation to ensure compliance with internal security policies and governance standards. Deliver complete and compliant documentation for Security Officer review and approval.
• Mediate Between Security Officer and Business: Facilitate communication between Security Officers and business teams to address security requirements, gaps, and documentation needs, ensuring smooth approval processes.
• Vendor Governance: Provide first-level support during Vendor Cybersecurity Assessments. Ensure vendors understand security requirements, assessment scope, and questionnaires. Coordinate remediation efforts for identified gaps while supporting business and vendor stakeholders.
• Support Security Measures and Service Integration: Assist with implementing security controls including encryption, authentication, data protection, and role-based access control. Support integration with enterprise services such as IAM, EDI, and Protection Services.
• Vulnerability Management: Coordinate vulnerability scanning activities, assist in interpreting assessment results, and support Application Managers and Business Owners in addressing identified vulnerabilities.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Internal IT and Security Policies and Processes: Good understanding of cybersecurity processes, security frameworks, governance requirements, and compliance standards.
• Organizational & Communication Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders, monitor progress, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
• Project Coordination: Experience supporting projects, tracking timelines, and facilitating collaboration across multiple teams.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to assist business teams in understanding security challenges and aligning solutions with organizational requirements.
• Security Awareness: Familiarity with information security best practices and the ability to support application teams through cybersecurity compliance processes.
• Experience: Approximately 3 years of experience in Application Management, IT Governance, Information Security, Compliance, or a related field.
