Volunteer Services Representative, PT Days (57905)

Position Summary

The Volunteer Services Representative supports the daily operations of the Volunteer Department by assisting with the volunteer recruitment, orientation, scheduling, record keeping and recognition program.  This role ensures that volunteers are supported, informed, and effectively placed to meet the needs of the organization and the community it serves.

Minimum Position Requirements

Work Experience:

• Minimum one year experience working with volunteers or in an administrative/support role.

Education and Training:

• High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred).

Skills:

• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, and experience in database systems (e.g., Volgistics, Better Impact, or similar) preferred.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
• Enthusiasm for community service and teamwork.
• Flexible and able to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Ability to remain calm, patient, and empathetic in sensitive situations.
