Volunteer Opportunities at Community Bridges
Community Bridges offers volunteer opportunities for people who want to support their local community and make a difference in the lives of children, families, and older adults. With 10 programs across 20 locations in Santa Cruz County, volunteers can get involved in a variety of services that meet the needs of local residents.
Volunteers can support older adults through Meals on Wheels for Santa Cruz County by delivering meals, providing friendly visits, helping at senior dining sites, or assisting with meal delivery operations. At Elderday Adult Day Health Care, volunteers can share their interests and talents by leading activities such as art, music, yoga, Zumba, and writing, or by helping with crafts, dancing, reading groups, and beginner English classes.
There are also opportunities to support families and youth through the Family Resource Collective (FRC), where volunteers can help with food distribution and connect families with resources. Volunteers can also support local students by helping elementary and middle school students with homework through after-school programs.
Volunteering is a way to share your time and skills while supporting services that are important to the community. Community Bridges welcomes volunteers who are dependable, respectful, and interested in helping others.
