Vocal Private Lesson Instructor (Part-Time)

Bullis School seeks an experienced and engaging Vocal Instructor to teach in-person private voice lessons on our campus for students in Grades 3–12. This is a part-time, contract position with flexible scheduling (2-5 weekdays per week), and instructors have the opportunity to create their own teaching schedule in coordination with student availability.

Schedule:

• Lower & Middle School: After school hours

• Upper School: During study halls or after school

Duties & Qualifications

Key Qualifications:

• Proven experience teaching voice to students of multiple ages and skill levels

• Strong foundation in classical, musical theatre, and contemporary vocal styles

• Proficiency in the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) and foreign language diction

• Dependable, communicative, and student-centered teaching approach

• Ability to manage variable schedules and administrative functions

Additional Details:

• In-person lessons take place on the Bullis School campus

• Lessons follow the Bullis academic calendar

• Two 10-lesson sessions per year

• Teachers are independent contractors, paid directly by families (financial aid available for qualifying students)
