Vitreoretinal Surgeon | Richmond, Virginia
Retina Institute of Virginia is seeking afellowship-trained Vitreoretinal Surgeon to join our established, growing retina practice inRichmond, Virginia.
This is an excellent opportunity to step into ahigh-volume medical and surgical retina practice with an established patient base, strong clinical support, and flexibility to build your surgical schedule.
The Opportunity
Retina Institute of Virginia is aretina-focused practice with five physicians providing comprehensive treatment for retinal and vitreous disease throughout Central and Eastern Virginia.
With two primary offices and three satellite locations, the practice serves patients throughoutRichmond, Fredericksburg, Tappahannock, Colonial Heights, and Williamsburg.
Opportunity highlights include:
Approximately50 patients per day
Approximately6 surgical cases per week
Surgery performed inRichmond
Flexible surgical scheduling with at least one dedicated surgery day
Monday–Friday clinical schedule
No hospital call
Weekend/holiday practice call rotation of approximately8–9 weekends annually
Experiencedtechnicians, scribes, and diagnostic testing support
Approximately 20% travel to the Williamsburg satellite location
Established patient and referral base
Opportunity to practice both medical and surgical retina
Additional training or interest inuveitis is welcomed but not required
