  • Visually Impaired Specialist
Schedule:
  • Monday – Friday – Onsite
  • 8 hours a day, 5 days a week
Job Summary:
We are looking for dedicatedVisually Impaired Specialist inTempe, AZ with excellent communication skills, critical thinking skills, and team player attitude. This provider will be responsible for caring for patients, communicating with other medical team members and maintaining accurate medical records.

Duties:
Visually Impaired Specialist
  • Provide direct and consultative services to students with visual impairments.
  • Conduct assessments and develop IEP goals related to vision needs.
  • Adapt instructional materials and recommend assistive technology.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation.

Job Requirements:
  • Valid Arizona Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) Certification or appropriate credential.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Experience with IEP development and special education compliance.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
