Our client inWestfield, NJ is seekingIT Support Specialists for a short-term, approximately2–3 week IT project. This is a hands-on opportunity supporting the remediation of computer systems and workstations using established procedures and tools. Candidates withIT support, desktop support, computer repair, or related technical experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities of the IT Support Specialist will include:

• Assist withvirus and malware remediation on computer systems and workstations.
• Follow established procedures toidentify, scan, clean, and remediate affected devices.
• Use providedsecurity, antivirus, and remediation tools according to project guidelines.
• Perform basicdesktop and workstation troubleshooting as needed during the remediation process.
• Verify systems are functioning properly following remediation activities.
• Follow established procedures for handling systems that requireadditional troubleshooting or escalation.
• Maintain accurate records ofdevices serviced, remediation steps completed, and project status.
• Work efficiently through assigned systems to help meetproject timelines and remediation goals.
• Follow all clientIT security, data handling, and workplace procedures throughout the project.

• PreviousIT support, desktop support, help desk, computer repair, technical support, or related experience preferred.
• Familiarity withWindows computers and basic workstation troubleshooting.
• General understanding ofcomputer viruses, malware, antivirus software, or endpoint security preferred.
• Ability to followtechnical instructions and established remediation procedures accurately.
• Comfortable working hands-on withdesktop and/or laptop computers.
• Ability to document completed work and accurately track assigned devices or tasks.
• Strongattention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a project-based environment.
• Ability to identify issues that require escalation to more experienced technical personnel.
• Must be able to successfully complete abackground check.
