Part-Time Accounting & Finance Assistant

About the Opportunity

Viking Bank is seeking aPart-Time Accounting & Finance Assistant to support our Finance and Operations teams. This position is ideal for students pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field who are looking to gain valuable hands-on experience while continuing their education.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with account reconciliations
• Support financial reporting and analysis
• Enter and maintain financial records with accuracy
• Assist with accounts payable and invoice processing
• Prepare spreadsheets and validate data
• Conduct research and support special projects
• Provide administrative support to Finance and Operations teams
• Help maintain organized and confidential financial information

What We’re Looking For

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
