We are seeking aHuman Language Technology specialist (HLT)with Russian language proficiency to support mission-focused efforts. While this role is designated as an HLT position, it is linguist-focused and requires strong language capabilities combined with technical aptitude. The ideal candidate will be bothlinguistically skilled andtechnically savvy, with the ability to work with data and modernanalytical tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leverage Russian language skills to supportanalysis,translation, andinterpretationtasks

• Process,analyze, andmanage data to support mission requirements

• Utilizetechnical tools andplatformsto organize and interpret large datasets

• Apply knowledge of emerging technologies, includingmachine learning,AI, andLLMs, to enhance analytical workflows

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams todeliver actionable insights

• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in alllinguisticandanalytical outputs

Basic Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Russian language with a minimum of2+ (ILR or equivalent)

• Experience or demonstrated ability in translation, analysis, or language-related work

• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to work across data management tools and systems

• Familiarity withIT concepts and data handling practices

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working withmachine learning,artificial intelligence, or large language models (LLMs)

• Background indata analysis,data management, or related technical fields

• Ability to quickly learn andadapt to new tools and technologies

• Experience supportinggovernmentormission-driven environments

What You Bring:

• ​An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is preferred; however, candidates with an existing security clearance may be eligible for sponsorship to obtain the required clearance upgrade.

• Bachelor’s degree with8 – 12 yearsof relevant experience ORMaster’s degree with 6-10 years of related experience. (Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.)

• Candidates must have experience in theIntelligence Community and Operations.

• Must successfully complete a Leidos-administered language proficiency test or equivalent

• HLT experience

• Proficiency inMicrosoft Office Suite and basic online research.

• Strongwritten and verbal communication skills in both English and target languages.
