Job Description

POSITION TITLE: Video Editor

POSITION PURPOSE:
The Video Editor provides editing support across a wide range of projects, with a strong focus on video finishing in After Effects. This role is a key part of Guess's in-house Video Services Department, a team made up of a Director, a Videographer, and a second Video Editor. The Video Services Department produces video content for every brand and category under Guess, including Guess, Marciano, Guess Jeans, and Guess USA. The team works cross-functionally on everything from marketing videos (social media, e-commerce, in-store LED screens, and LED billboard advertising) to internal corporate communications (CEO messages, product knowledge videos, campus event recaps, and executive keynote speeches).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Youtube Series / Long Form Videos * Design and animate motion graphics for full slate of Guess YouTube series / episodes * Edit YouTube video series episodes.
Social Media & Advertising Short Form Videos * Provide motion graphic support for Social Media content (Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook etc) * Edit video cutdowns and re-sizes for Social Media platforms. * Edit video cutdowns and re-sizes for Advertising
In-Store Videos * Edit video re-sizes for in-store videos, world-wide. * Create slideshows for special GUESS stores (Rodeo, Milan, Cerritos, Citadel, etc)
Internal Videos * Edit internal videos when needed (product knowledge videos, training and development, messages from leadership, etc) * Design and animate motion graphics for internal videos.
Motion Graphics For Special Events *Create and design motion graphic visuals for use at GUESS Events ( runway shows, local and international pop-up events, etc)

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 2-4 Years
