Delivery Manager (Life Sciences/Healthcare)

Responsibilities

• Manage senior stakeholder relationships by establishing governance, clear decision-making cadences and transparent communication plans to drive alignment on priorities and trade-offs
• Life Science SME & Project Delivery: Act as a Life Sciences Subject Matter Expert (SME), leading project-assigned delivery and governance for key accounts in Japan while ensuring deep alignment with industry-specific needs
• Pre-Sales & Solution Leadership: Partner with account teams to drive pre-sales activities, rapidly preparing customer proposals, scoping solutions (Fixed Price, T&M, etc.), and defining statements of work from a delivery perspective
• Consultative Client Partnership: Build trusted relationships with Life Science client executives, understanding their business challenges to suggest innovative technology solutions that drive efficiency and digital transformation
• Hands-on Lifecycle Execution: Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to go-live, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams (architects, developers, and QA) to manage risks, staffing, and financial tracking

Requirements

• Experience in Life Sciences or pharma or health care projects is required
• Background of four or more years in technology consulting, digital transformation or delivery leadership, taking accountability for shaping project scope and driving outcomes from problem definition through delivery
• Fluency in native or near-native Japanese (JLPT N1) and professional English
• Ability to structure ambiguous topics into clear recommendations and simplify complex concepts into actionable business narratives for non-technical leadership
• Experience in delivering artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) initiatives, including generative AI (GenAI), with an understanding of data readiness, governance and iteration cycles is highly preferred but optional
