Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for aSenior DevOps Engineer to join the team of one of our international technology clients.

Our client is aglobal IT and technology services company working with organizations across different industries and markets worldwide. The company provides technology and digital solutions, helping businesses build, modernize, and manage their technology environments.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and managing cloud infrastructure onAWS, Google Cloud Platform, or other cloud service providers, ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of applications and services.

You will be involved in different stages of the software development lifecycle and work closely with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and reliable delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP; Application Gateway, AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), Functions, VMs, and API Management.
• Develop and maintain pipelines for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) of applications and services.
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform to automate provisioning and configuration management tasks.
• Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate them using Kubernetes (K8s) for scalable and resilient deployment.
• Write automation scripts using PowerShell to streamline routine tasks and enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications in the cloud environment.
• Demonstrate experience and the ability to work independently, mentor others, and contribute to raising the technical maturity of projects.
• Monitor and optimize the performance, availability, and cost of cloud resources, implementing best practices for security and compliance.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with cloud services, including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Application Gateway, AKS, Functions, VMs, API Management, K8s, and Docker.
• A proven track record in the DevOps field.
• Knowledge of other automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.

Salary

€4,485 – €5,950 gross per month, depending on experience and skills.
