Belvedere Trading is looking for a proven Program Manager who excels in strategy, planning, and cross-functional communication. They will work directly with traders, software developers, quants, and stakeholders to build project requirements, milestones, resources, and timelines, ensuring the successful deployment of new products and features. Successful candidates will have proven experience using Agile methodology and excel at managing projects that cross team departments while also exhibiting excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. What You'll Do
- Plan and execute software development projects with clear timelines and deliverablesÂ
- Engage in cost/benefit analysis to help control risk and uncertainty related to the successful completion of a projectÂ
- Monitor project KPI’s and help the team stay focused and deliver impactÂ
- Ensure projects have defined requirements, milestones, and rollout strategy Â
- Communicate project expectations and updates to stakeholdersÂ
- Work with executives and handle upward communicationÂ
- Set and manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholdersÂ
- Direct project teams and manage conflicts that may arise within teamsÂ
- Report project updates and key metrics to leadership and cross-functional teams
- Adhere to the company’s software development methods (based on Agile)Â
- Contribute to education on best practices for project management at the firmÂ
What You'll Need
- 3+ years of direct work experience as a Program or Project Manager utilizing Agile methodology
- Strong experience working across teams that span multiple departmentsÂ
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsÂ
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skillsÂ
- Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skillsÂ
- Can adjust to shifting priorities, needs, and deadlines Â
- Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including management, developers, and tradersÂ
- Ability to work onsite in Belvedere's Chicago headquarters full-time (5 days per traditional work week)
