About The Job:
- This is an Automation project to enable Deutsche Bank patch their environment (not just VMware estate) quicker.
- Automation work is focused on improving the patching process from Pre-Production (i.e. UAT, test environments) through to Production.
Essential Job Functions:
- Developing and maintaining automation workflows, operational procedures that streamline lifecycle activities, reduce manual effort, and improve operational consistency.
- Support patch validation, remediation activities, compliance monitoring, and reporting.
- Collaborate with architects, platform engineers, security teams, and operations teams across their global engineering organization.
- Contribute to standards, best practices, and reusable automation frameworks that improve platform stability, security, patch compliance, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- They are ideally looking for (2)"Offshore" VCF / Automation Engineers/Consultants with knowledge and 10 years of experience in:
- VCF (full stack)
- VCF Ops/ Automation
- Aria Automation Orchestrator (formerly VRO)
- JavaScript
- PowerShell
- PowerCLI
- Python
- Terraform
- CI/CD etc. are "nice to haves"
- Platform lifecycle management
- Patch compliance & security remediation
- Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices
- Change & Configuration Management
