Hours: 45 hours per week (Mon-Fri)
Salary: £34,632 per annum
We’re looking for a Yardsman to join our team, and play a key role at Activate Accident Repair Kings Langley.

Role Overview:
Ensuring the yard is kept clean and tidy and vehicles are parked appropriately with easy access. Dealing with customers in a professional manner, ensuring high standards of customer service. Responsible for moving vehicles around site, including parking and moving them to the correct bays for work to be completed.
Key responsibilities:
- Checking vehicles in when delivered, collected or recovered in. Ensure they are positioned suitably in a valid space.
- Moving cars around as required from the front car park to the rear car park.
- Take images of the vehicle inside and out and mark any damage evident on tablet / paperwork
- Ensure customer signs paperwork before they leave.
- Responsible for handing over courtesy cars (if necessary) and complete relevant paperwork
- Ensure courtesy cars are clean, tidy and have fuel in them
- Hand paperwork to Reception for them to upload and update systems accordingly
- Keep the yard organised, tidy, clean and safe at all times
- Daily travel to local offsite compound to collect courtesy cars/customer cars and deliver cars as and when required
- Occasionally wash down customer/courtesy cars before collection
- Ensuring customers are treated in a professional and efficient manner at all times
- Report any accidents, incidents to your Bodyshop Manager without delay.
- Confirm any courtesy car damage or cleanliness issues with reception team
- Occasionally collecting/delivering cars to/from customers
Skills and experience:
- Full driving license with the correct classification to carryout duties
- Excellent organisation skills
- Logistics experience
- Experience of vehicle appraisal
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Interpersonal and communication skills should be excellent standard
- Attention to detail
- The right attitude to get the job done
- Time management at each booking is essential
- IT proficient
