To support the driver in the safe, accurate and efficient delivery and collection of goods by selecting the correct type, quantity and quality of loaves; delivering customer orders on time and in full, in accordance with the invoice; and collecting and loading empty crates and customer returns onto the truck.Key Performance AreaÂ
- Vehicle InspectionÂ
- Ensure the vehicle cab is kept clean and hygienic​Â
- Report any irregularities and bad driving to Sales Supervisor​Â
- Adhere to Health & Safety regulations​Â
- Adhere to SOP’s for loading and off-loading trucks​Â
- Quality Control​Â
- Build excellent relations with general trade customers​Â
- Identify bad quality loaves and report as per SOP​Â
- Carry bread from truck to the shop as per invoice​Â
- Build relationships with customers​Â
- Merchandise bread at general trade customers based on shelf life​Â
- Provide feedback on activities, perceptions and attitudes observed at general trade customers to Sales Supervisor​Â
- Positive basket flow and control​Â
- Pick up baskets per client​Â
- Carry empty crates, stock and returns to truck ​Â
- Pack empty crates and bread in truck ensuring no damage​Â

Minimum requirements:
- Matric or equivalent
- 1-2 years FMCG experience
- Time management
- Communication skills
