Validation & Automation Engineer

The Role

UST is searching for highly motivated engineers to support next-generation Physical AI and Edge AI solutions by validation and automation in Linux environment. Your responsibilities will broadly include performance benchmarking, workload execution, regression testing and debug on Linux environments.

What You’ll Do

Your job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

·Platforms bring up by hardware and software configuration.

·Execute and analyze benchmark suites and workloads

a. CPU Benchmarks

b. Graphics workloads

c. Real Time workloads

d. AI models validation

e. End to End media analytics

f. NPU workloads etc. (Eg: SPEC CPU, Geekbench, CoreMark, STREAM, lmbench, Intel Memory Latency Checker, fio, IOzone, iperf3, OpenCL-based GPU workloads, AI/NPU inference benchmarks)

·Create and execute sanity and regression test suites.

·Contribute to test automation framework.

·Document, reproduce, and track defects through closure.

·Generate performance reports, dashboards, and trend analyses.

·Collaborate to resolve performance issues and optimize workloads.

What You Need

·Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electronics, Robotics or related fields

·4+ years of relevant work experience

·Excellent hands-on experience with Linux environments (Ubuntu, Fedora or equivalent)

·Strong Linux debugging and troubleshooting skills.

·Experience using benchmarking tools (Eg: SPEC CPU, Geekbench, CoreMark, STREAM, lmbench, Intel Memory Latency Checker, fio, IOzone, iperf3, OpenCL-based GPU workloads, AI/NPU inference benchmarks)

·Good C and Python skills

·Experience conducting performance comparison study

·Good Understanding of computer architecture

·Ability to perform root-cause analysis of performance issues.

·Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

·Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Location & Compensation

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Chandler, Arizona

Compensation Range:$70,000-$105,000

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty.
