Test Automation Engineer (Java)

We are looking for aTest Automation Engineer (Java)to design, build, and maintain automated testing solutions that ensure the quality and reliability of our software products across the full development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop functional, integration, and acceptance test cases
• Create automated test cases for regression, functional, and smoke testing
• Organize and execute automation tasks while upholding testing standards across the team
• Incorporate test cycles into the DevOps pipeline
• Resolve system issues creatively and efficiently through effective troubleshooting
• Build automation for backend services (REST APIs) and frontend
• Record and report defects
• Oversee test data and test environments
• Handle version management of test scripts

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance, including test automation development or a mix of development and testing experience
• Proficiency in Java
• Background in REST and SOAP API testing, ideally with SOAPUI and Groovy scripting
• Expertise in Selenium or comparable tools, together with Cucumber
• Capability to build and maintain automation scripts that ensure information systems services and programs meet acceptance criteria
• Familiarity with Agile methodology
• Skills in functional, integration, and regression testing, including authoring unit tests for robustness, edge cases, usability, and overall reliability
• Knowledge of manual testing at a solid level
• Competency in connecting test suites to CI/CD pipelines
• Strong analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting abilities
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, including client-facing experience
• English proficiency at B2 level or above
