Technical Program Manager (TPM)

We are seeking a seasonedTechnical Program Manager (TPM) to oversee the execution of large-scale cloud infrastructure and platform projects built on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

This position involves coordinating engineering and operations teams across functions, overseeing intricate technical initiatives, and ensuring the effective rollout of scalable, secure, and dependable cloud infrastructure across a worldwide environment.

The ideal candidate blends solid technical knowledge of cloud infrastructure with demonstrated skills in program management and stakeholder engagement.

Location: Ukraine, with working hours overlapping until 8:00 PM Kyiv time

Responsibilities

• Oversee comprehensive planning and execution of GCP cloud infrastructure and platform initiatives
• Bring together engineering, DevOps, operations, and other cross-functional groups to guarantee program success
• Handle program plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and resource distribution
• Foster alignment between technical and business stakeholders while delivering consistent program status reports
• Manage extensive cloud infrastructure deployments and transformation efforts, confirming that delivery aligns with established standards for quality, performance, security, and reliability
• Spot delivery risks and operational obstacles early, leading efforts toward mitigation and resolution
• Handle interdependencies among various teams and workstreams within a complex, global setting
• Work alongside distributed teams spanning multiple time zones, including joining PST-aligned meetings and activities as needed

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Program Management, or a similar role, with a focus on cloud, infrastructure, or platform programs
• Hands-on experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and a solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and cloud-native technologies
• Proven experience managing large-scale cloud infrastructure, platform, or cloud transformation programs
• Strong understanding of technical delivery processes, including dependencies, risks, release planning, and operational readiness
• Strong program planning, risk management, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience coordinating distributed, cross-functional teams in a global environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and senior business stakeholders
• Strong ownership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Required Certifications & Credentials: Associate-level cloud certification (Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer or equivalent), professional AI credentials and hands-on enterprise GenAI experience (e.g., Vertex AI / Gemini)
• GCP Professional Cloud Architect or another relevant GCP certification
• PMP, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or similar program/project management certification
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Experience working with large-scale cloud migration or modernization programs
• Experience collaborating with teams and stakeholders across US/PST time zones

• Professional / Expert GCP Certifications: Professional-level certification (e.g., Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, or Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer)
• Pre-Sales & RFP Leadership: Driving complex RFP responses, GCP solution architectures and sizing, commercial pricing strategies, and executive-level client pitch presentations
