Lead Node.JS Engineer (AWS, AI)

We're seeking a seasonedLead Node.JS Engineer to contribute to a custom eCommerce consumer communication platform built for planning and delivering personalized messaging, including newsletters, marketing campaigns, and transactional communications.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable solutions leveraging NodeJS and AWS Lambda in an event-driven, microservices, and serverless environment
• Drive and uphold engineering best practices throughout the development lifecycle
• Utilize design principles and patterns to deliver clean, maintainable code
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines to optimize deployment and release workflows
• Incorporate AI-assisted development tools to boost efficiency and code standards
• Mentor and support engineering team members in technical growth and best practices
• Maintain clear communication with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Requirements

• 6+ years in software development
• 2+ years in a leadership capacity
• Strong command of TypeScript, NodeJS, AWS, and AWS Lambda
• Deep knowledge of event-driven, microservices, and serverless architecture
• Proven ability to apply design principles and patterns
• Practical experience with CI/CD
• Demonstrated use of AI-assisted development
• Strong communication abilities
• English proficiency at B2+ level
