The QC Inspector – Instrument performs inspection and testing of instrumentation construction activities to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
SECTION II: Job Analysis
Duties & Responsibilities
·        Perform in-process and final inspections on instrumentation installation works.
·        Witness loop checks, calibration, and instrument testing activities per the ITP.
·        Verify instrument installation, tubing, and wiring against approved drawings and specifications.
·        Verify materials and instruments against material certificates and specifications.
·        Record inspection results and raise Non-Conformance Reports as required.
·        Coordinate hold points and inspections with client/third-party inspectors.
·        Maintain inspection records, checklists, and daily QC reports.
·        Verify calibration status of test and measuring equipment used on site.
·        Support punch-list generation and verification of closure for instrumentation works.
·        Ensure work fronts comply with approved method statements and instrumentation standards.
·        Support preparation of quality documentation for instrumentation handover dossiers.

SECTION V: Required Experience and Education

Experience
·         5–8 years of experience as a QC Inspector on instrumentation construction projects.
Education
·         Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering.
·         QC/inspection certification preferred.
