Animal keeper - Royal Palace

Welcome to Apt Resources! Our client, the Royal Palace, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Animal Keeper to join their prestigious team. As a member of the Royal Palace's animal care department, you will have the unique opportunity to work with a variety of exotic animals and contribute to their overall well-being and conservation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the daily care of animals, including feeding, watering, and cleaning their living areas
• Engage in behavioral enrichment activities to promote the physical and mental well-being of the animals
• Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns to the senior animal keepers
• Assist with veterinary procedures and handling of animals as needed
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering visitor questions and giving educational presentations

• Previous experience working with a wide range of animals, including exotic and/or endangered species
• Passion for animal welfare and conservation
• Strong knowledge of animal behavior, nutrition, and general care
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse audience
• Physical fitness and endurance to perform the required tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods of time
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed
• Professional demeanor and the ability to represent the Royal Palace with integrity and professionalism

AED 2500 basic salary plus free accommodation, free food, free toiletries plus all other benefits as per UAE labor laws
