Driven by the passion to improve quality of people’s lives, WSA continues to grow as a market leader in the hearing aid industry. With our commitment to increase penetration in an underserved hearing care market, we want to accelerate our business transformation in order to reach more people, more effectively.
Are you passionate about creating great digital experiences at the intersection of people, design, and technology? We are looking for a UX/UI Design Student Assistant to help build and evolve our multibrand design system in WSA. You will join our global Design System team of five talented designers and developers, working together to create scalable, consistent, and user-centered experiences across brands, products, and platforms.
What you will do
Create, maintain, and document design system components, patterns, and guidelines in Figma.
Collaborate closely with developers to identify issues early, validate component quality, and ensure a smooth handoff between design and code.
Help improve and scale our design system governance by supporting the creation, management, and quality assurance of design assets such as icons, illustrations, and other graphical elements.
Keep the design system aligned across design and development by updating components when code changes are introduced and ensuring new functionality, properties, and behaviours are accurately reflected in Figma.
Explore how design and development can work closer together by leveraging AI tools, automation, and Figma plugins to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.
What you bring
Experience in Digital Design
Strong UX/UI design skills with proficiency in Figma and experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
Interest in design systems, component-based design, and creating consistent experiences across multiple brands and platforms.
Understanding of visual design principles, including typography, color, spacing, layout and more.
Experience or interest in translating user needs and business requirements into intuitive interface designs, user flows, and scalable component patterns.
Personal competencies
A structured and detail-oriented mindset with the ability to document guidelines, patterns, and design decisions clearly.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a proactive approach to working with designers, developers, and product stakeholders.
Requirements
You will have to work approximately 15 hours/week, spread over two days. We are very flexible during exam periods. We would like you to be studying a relevant education at CBS, ITU, AAU, KU, DTU or similar, and we would like you to be on the 4.-5. semester of your bachelor or the 1.-2. semester of your master.
The headquarters of our company is located in Lynge north of Copenhagen and it is expected that you will be in the office.
