Job Description:
- The Learning Frontiers UX Research Associate (UXRA) will help lead and manage student engagement programs, including student panels, co-design sessions, and empathy-building events. The role will synthesize research findings and translate them into actionable insights to inform product development and communicate findings to diverse audiences.
- Lead, assist in planning, conducting, and analyzing user studies, including in-person and remote usability studies, focus groups, and interviews.
- Manage and maintain student engagement programs and advisory boards.
- Design and facilitate empathy-building programs, including participatory co-design workshops and onsite focus groups.
- Clearly communicate research agendas and coordinate with cross-functional partners.
- Communicate and present research findings to diverse audiences through written reports and oral presentations.
- Collaborate with UX Researchers and team stakeholders to define research projects, objectives, and requirements.
- Apply qualitative research methods and analysis techniques to generate actionable insights that inform product design and development.
- 2 years of relevant industry experience, including integrating user research into product design.
- Experience with a range of qualitative research methods and analysis techniques.
- Experience working with and managing research vendors.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently across a variety of tasks.
- Ability to synthesize research findings and communicate insights effectively through appropriate formats.
- Experience developing educational products.
- Completed B.A./B.S. or an M.A./M.S./Ph.D. in progress or completed in Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Computer Science, Social Science, or another field emphasizing human behavior.
