Utility Superintendent - 6

Oversee daily field operations for civil construction projects
• Plan and coordinate work activities with Project Managers and field crews
• Supervise and direct company personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Ensure work is performed according to plans, specifications, and schedules
• Enforce safety policies and maintain a safe job site at all times
• Coordinate equipment, materials, and manpower needs
• Conduct daily job site inspections and safety meetings
• Communicate project progress, challenges, and needs to Project Management
• Maintain accurate daily reports, time tracking, and field documentation
• Assist with quality control, inspections, and punch list completion

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Foreman in civil construction
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, sequencing, and scheduling
• Experience managing crews, subcontractors, and job site logistics
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to job site safety and quality workmanship
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as required
Preferred Experience
• Experience overseeing site development, utilities, earthwork, or roadway projects
• Familiarity with local and state construction regulations
• OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
