Utility Data Analyst - Remote

Role: Data Analyst – Contractor

Location: Remote

Work at EST time zone

Assignment Duration: 4 to 6 weeks, with intermittent breaks for data validation activities. Candidates should be flexible with their work schedule and total hours, as workload may vary throughout the assignment.

Key Requirements:

• Entry-level Data Analyst with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience
• Strong proficiency in Excel, data analysis, and reporting
• Ability to work with datasets, identify discrepancies and report.
• Must be focused and flexible

Role Purpose

Support the Global Supply Chain Sustainability Director by reviewing America Supply Chain utility consumption data and validating it against utility invoices.

Key Responsibilities

· Analyze utility data using Excel.

· Compare invoiced data with recorded consumption data and uploaded invoices to identify discrepancies.

· Investigate and document data gaps, inconsistencies, and potential errors.

· Produce a clear report outlining discrepancies and recommended corrections.

· Work closely with the Global Supply Chain Sustainability Director throughout the assignment.

Required Skills and Experience

· Strong Excel proficiency, including data sorting, filtering, formulas, reconciliation, and basic analysis.

· High attention to detail and accuracy.

· Ability to manage and analyze large or complex data sets.

· Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

· Clear written communication and report-writing skills.

Deliverable

A report summarising data discrepancies, their likely causes where identifiable, and the corrective actions needed

Responsibilities:

Download utility invoices from external databases and upload them into the company's internal system

Match and validate invoice data across multiple sources

Analyze data to identify discrepancies, missing information, or inconsistencies

Generate reports with discrepancies

Interview Process:1 round of interview round with 2 Hiring Managers

The HM is based in UK and is available for interviews only during morning hours (9:00 AM to 1:00 PM EST)
