Details of the role:
The role of a Volunteer Workshop Assistant is to assist directly in the preparation and set up of wheelchairs and other equipment. Each of our clients have individual ergonomic requirements; you will be working closely with our workshop staff to modify and tailor mobility devices for our clients.
This role will suit people who are experienced in and comfortable using power tools. We are looking for Engineers (or Engineering students), trades people, or those with experience modifying equipment.

Dates & Times:
We are looking for volunteers who can commit toone day per week.
Days: Monday - Friday
Times: 9:00am - 1:00pm (4 hours)
Location: CPA Tuggerah
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Friendly and personable
A team player with the ability to work well with others
Reliable and punctual
Demonstrated knowledge and skills to effectively perform required tasks
Experience and expertise in using hand tools and machinery to undertake adjustments and modification as required
Role requirements:
16 years and above
NDIS Worker Screening
Working with Children Check (NSW)
