Lighthouse is looking for an individual who exudes a servant heart, has a good work ethic, and good communication skills.  The best candidates have a high attention to detail and love the finished work of a great looking car or truck!  

Summary

Detail Technicians go the extra mile to clean dealership and customer vehicles (both inside and out) and a job well done is a vital part of Lighthouse's great customer service.  

Pay:  $16-$18 per hour
Hours:  Monday through Friday 7 AM to 3 PM

Essential Duties

• Wash vehicle exterior, clean interior and exterior windows and wipe down doorjamb.
• Apply wax to auto body, wipe or buff surface.  
  
• Vacuum interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris.
  
• Clean upholstery, rugs and other surfaces, using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators and cleaning devices.
  
• Apply revitalizers and preservation agents to interior vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot and stain resistant chemicals. 
  
• Clean engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents.
  
• Apply special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which normal cleaning procedures do not remove, utilizing experience and judgement and following product manufacturer's recommendations.
  
• Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery and poor mechanical operation.
  
• Restore appearance of engine area, rugs, upholstery and painted surfaces - use touch-up paint, dyes, and other appropriate materials.  
  
• Use proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection.  
  
• Fill vehicle with fuel.
  
• Apply dressing on tires and tire wells.
  
• Replace missing or defective small parts.
  
• Ensure proper stickers are displayed in vehicle's window - removing all window stickers on sold vehicles.
• Keep work area neat and clean and operate all tools and equipment in a safe manor - reporting safety issues to management.  
  
• Other duties as assigned.  
  

Qualifications 

• Valid Driver's License.  
• High School diploma or GED or 1-3 months related experience and/or training. 
• Experience with professional detailing preferred. 
• Experience in a dealership setting preferred.
