Position Summary...

This position is based in Ohio, Northern Indiana, Pennsylvania, or West Virginia near a major airport to support frequent travel.
The Senior Manager, Community Relations strengthens Walmart’s relationships and reputation through local community engagement.

A key focus is leading the Community Champions program and conducting regular trainings that equip store and club associates to engage thoughtfully and effectively. The role provides tools, guidance, and event support; builds relationships with community leaders; and identifies opportunities for volunteerism and community impact. Success requires strong judgment, creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively across strategy, training, and execution.

What you'll do...

This position is remote, based in one of the following markets: Ohio, Northern Indiana, Pennsylvania, or West Virginia near a major airport to support frequent travel.
What you'll do:

Develop and execute community engagement strategies that strengthen local relationships and enhance Walmart’s reputation.
Lead and conduct Community Champions trainings, equipping store and club associates with tools, resources, and guidance to engage thoughtfully in their communities.
Oversee local giving budgets and recommend investments aligned with business priorities and corporate strategy.
Localize and amplify national initiatives, including belonging, health and wellness, opportunity, sustainability, and local sourcing.
Advise leaders on community opportunities and collaborate across functions to ensure coordinated engagement and communications.
Model Walmart’s values, ethics, integrity, and compliance while fostering collaboration, accountability, and meaningful community impact.

What you'll bring:

You’re a great all-around communicator (written, oral, visual, social media)
You have previous experience training, teaching or leading small / large groups.
You have a lifelong learning mindset
You’re a self-starter who is productive when working independently or on a team
A valid driver’s license with the ability to travel domestically 60–75% of the time, including consecutive overnight stays

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
