About the team:
The Local Marketplace team is transforming how customers shop on Walmart.com by onboarding national and regional retailers with enhanced speed, assortment, and convenience. Operating at the nexus of strategy, technology, operations, and process optimization, the team develops scalable solutions that improve seller and customer experiences. The Senior Manager, Operations leads the operational engine for Marketplace Seller Onboarding, driving complex programs, fostering continuous improvement, and collaborating cross-functionally. This role emphasizes data-driven decision-making, risk management, and team development to deliver measurable performance outcomes in a dynamic environment focused on efficiency and innovation.
What you'll do:

Direct and manage project work streams, ensuring timely execution and successful implementation of operational initiatives.
Analyze data and business trends to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.
Develop and adjust performance standards, monitoring progress and implementing contingency plans as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce operational costs.
Lead the development and enhancement of operational tools and reporting systems to support business objectives.
Mentor and coach associates, fostering a high-performing team environment and promoting continuous development.
Manage budgets, approve expenditures, and ensure alignment with business goals and compliance standards.

Proven expertise in operations and project management with the ability to lead complex initiatives and manage multiple work streams.
Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and develop actionable business recommendations.
Demonstrated success in driving business efficiency through process improvements and innovative solutions.
Experience leading cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, and resolving conflicts effectively.
Ability to develop and implement standard operating procedures and performance metrics.
Excellent communication and coaching skills to mentor associates and build high-performing teams.
Sound judgment in prioritizing tasks and managing budgets to meet business objectives.

Bentonville, Arkansas US-30008: The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00
San Bruno, California US-08848: The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
