Role summary:
Walmart is seeking a Senior Manager, Advanced Analytics (Individual Contributor) to lead the development and execution of analytics strategies that drive business results for a large, strategic Food supplier. This role involves collaborating with senior leadership & internal and external cross-functional teams to identify challenges, deliver actionable insights, and implement innovative solutions. The position requires managing advanced analytics initiatives from idea through execution & driving the consultative measurement relationship with the supplier. The successful candidate will contribute to strategic planning and support data-driven decision-making to drive business impact for their supplier.
About the team:
The Media Insights team partners with Food Suppliers to deliver expert media consulting and advanced analytics solutions. This team leverages data-driven approaches to support strategic decision-making and optimize business outcomes. Members collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to develop innovative models and actionable insights. The team is committed to driving impactful projects, fostering professional growth, and maintaining high standards of integrity and performance. Through effective leadership and collaboration, the team advances analytics capabilities that address complex challenges and contribute to the company’s success in a dynamic marketplace.
What you'll do:

Lead advanced analytics initiatives as strategic lead on a large, key supplier to address complex business challenges and support data-driven decision making.
Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to develop strategic plans and actionable recommendations.
Oversee end-to-end project management, including prototype development and implementation of data models to address specific supplier challenges.
Foster strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to align analytics efforts with business objectives.

What you'll bring:

Expertise in developing and implementing complex data models, algorithms, and prototypes to drive strategic decision-making.
Strong collaboration skills working with senior leadership and cross-functional partners to address business challenges.
Demonstrated ability to lead projects end-to-end for clients.
Proficiency in advanced data analysis techniques supporting data-driven business insights.
Ability to translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations for business growth.

Hoboken, New Jersey US-10279: The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00 - $216,000.00
San Bruno, California US-08848: The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
