The Senior Analyst, Advanced Analytics, plays a critical role in supporting business objectives through data-driven insights and modeling. About the team:
The Media Insights team delivers actionable insights to optimize investments with Walmart Connect. By analyzing media performance, the team supports agencies, technology partners, and advertisers in enhancing strategies and driving growth. Utilizing advanced data analysis, statistical methods, and predictive modeling, the team transforms complex data into clear, market-facing insights. Collaborating across functions, they ensure data quality and effective model deployment to support business decisions. This team plays a vital role in enabling data-driven strategies that maximize value and impact for Walmart’s advertising partners.
What you'll do:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives through advanced data analysis and modeling.
Own components of small projects, delivering end-to-end solutions that address business needs.
Develop predictive and statistical models to identify trends and inform strategic recommendations.
Prepare and present data-driven insights and executive summaries to business management.
Support deployment and testing of analytical prototypes and proof of concepts.
Mentor and coach less experienced associates to enhance team capabilities.
Identify and extract relevant data sets to solve straightforward business problems.

What you'll bring:

Proven expertise in advanced analytics, including data analysis, predictive modeling, and statistical modeling.
Proficiency in SQL and Python programming languages to manipulate and analyze complex data sets.
Experience with machine learning techniques and business intelligence tools to support data-driven decision making.
Strong ability to develop and deploy analytical models, identifying trends and delivering actionable insights.
Demonstrated capability to collaborate across teams and communicate strategic recommendations effectively.
Commitment to continuous improvement, coaching peers, and applying best practices in analytics projects.

San Bruno, California US-08848: The annual salary range for this position is $91,000.00 - $169,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
