USA_RDD Designer II

FieldBridge Energy seeks a The Woodlands, TX - based Mechanical Design Engineer (Drill Bits) to work for a global energy technology leader.

Pay / Schedule: $140-$150/hr. Monday-Friday, 8 hrs/day, flexible working days. 100% Onsite. At 40 hrs per week for example, earn weekly paychecks of $6,000. Weekly pay + benefits.

Contract position. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar is required. Candidate must live within a 30-40 minute commute of The Woodlands, TX.

You will take part in the design, analysis, and development of current and new drill bit technologies, working closely with Product Line, Operations, Manufacturing, and Technology teams to improve product performance.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Create drill bit design and manufacturing packages using 3D modeling and data management systems
• Run FEA and CFD simulations to evaluate and validate designs
• Select engineering techniques and analysis tools to solve problems and make sound design recommendations
• Partner with Product Line Management, Operations, Manufacturing, and Technology to improve product performance
• Drive consistent use of product design standards and follow HSE, Quality, and Legal Compliance processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• 3D CAD experience, Siemens NX preferred
• Teamcenter PLM or similar product data management experience
• FEA and CFD simulation software experience
• Drill bit experience (PDC, Tricone, or Kymera) preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Local to The Woodlands, TX
