Role summary:The Principal Software Engineer in Information Security will lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable software solutions aligned with business objectives. This role requires expertise in stakeholder management, security technologies, and infrastructure security to influence technical outcomes and drive innovation. The position involves overseeing coding standards, guiding teams on best practices, and ensuring compliance with quality and security requirements. The engineer will collaborate across functions to address complex challenges, enhance system operability, and support continuous improvement in software development and security operations within a dynamic environment.
About the team:
The team leads the design and implementation of advanced global network segmentation strategies focused on regulatory compliance and enterprise security. It drives innovation by researching emerging technologies and delivering automated infrastructure as code solutions to meet evolving business needs. Members provide technical guidance and mentorship within a global security engineering environment. The team emphasizes strategic architecture development for complex, high-scale security programs and maintains audit compliance initiatives. Collaboration and expertise in cloud automation, network protocols, and continuous integration pipelines ensure robust, scalable security solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
What you'll do:
- Lead design and implementation of secure software solutions aligned with business requirements and security standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify needs, influence technical outcomes, and communicate shared goals effectively.
- Guide coding practices, frameworks, and platforms to ensure scalability, maintainability, and security compliance.
- Drive automation of repetitive tasks within CI/CD pipelines to enhance operational efficiency.
- Oversee testing strategies, including security and performance, to validate software quality and risk mitigation.
- Monitor application performance, lead defect management, and implement corrective actions to maintain system integrity.
- Mentor engineering teams, fostering technical excellence and adherence to best practices.
What you'll bring:
- Extensive experience in stakeholder management, including identification, engagement, and communication to align technical and business objectives.
- Proven expertise in designing scalable, secure software solutions with strong knowledge of security technologies and infrastructure security.
- Proficiency in coding standards, frameworks, and platforms such as Microsoft Azure, with ability to guide teams on best practices.
- Strong background in test strategy development, defect management, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical designs and solutions.
- Demonstrated leadership in mentoring, coaching, and developing engineering teams to achieve high performance.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
