Role summary:
The Baby - Feeding & Nursing Associate Merchant supports category management by assisting with analyzing data, supplier negotiations, executing strategies, and item setup for both stores and online channels. This role collaborates cross-functionally to ensure accurate product content, onboard new and existing suppliers, and leverages data analysis to inform category strategies. The Associate Merchant contributes to budgeting, forecasting, and modular assortment execution while maintaining strong vendor relationships. What you'll do:

Support senior merchants in supplier negotiations and manage financials for assigned categories.
Assist in resolving supplier issues and facilitate new supplier setups for stores and online channels.
Own execution of customer communication and education programs in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Ensure accuracy and quality of product page content, adhering to taxonomy and search guidelines.
Analyze category performance data to support budgeting, forecasting, and sales reporting.
Develop and implement feature proposals and modular assortment strategies across channels.
Collaborate with planners and analysts to align financial plans and inventory purchases.
Leverage data tools to generate insights and support technology adoption within scope.

What you'll bring:

Proven experience in vendor relationship management and supplier negotiations within retail or related sectors.
Strong skills in category strategy development and supplier management to support merchandising goals.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to track category performance and inform decision-making.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to resolve supplier issues and support item setup and maintenance.
Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking aligned with organizational targets.
Effective communication skills to execute customer education programs and support omni-channel initiatives.
Commitment to upholding company policies, ethics, and standards while driving business results.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
