Title : valves Assembler / Mechanical Assembler
Location: Pasadena, TX 77507
Duration: 0-12 months
Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm
Pay Rate: $25 - $30/hr
Job Duties
- Assembling valves from components
- Calibrating valves
- Stainless steel tubing installation and bending
- Reading technical drawings and assembly documentation
- Pressure testing and hydro testing (preferred but not required)
- Troubleshooting and repair of valve components
- Disassembling and assembling Pressure Safety Valves (PSVs)
- Lapping valve seats and discs
- Calibrating set pressures
- Performing seat leakage and set pressure testing
- Understanding API standards and pressure relief valve operation
- Control valve assembly and repair
- Stainless steel tubing installation and bending
- Actuator and positioner setup
- Hydro testing and pressure testing
- Valve calibration and troubleshooting
- Reading P&IDs and assembly drawings
- Becker valve assembly
- Stainless steel tubing fabrication and installation
- Leak testing and troubleshooting
- Mechanical assembly and repair
Qualifications
- 2+ years of valve assembly experience.
- Experience with stainless steel tubing installation and bending.
- Mechanical assembly and troubleshooting experience.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
- Mechanical Aptitude – Strong understanding of valve components, assembly techniques, and repair processes.
- Quality-Focused Mindset – Commitment to precision and compliance with testing and calibration standards.
- Safety Awareness – Consistently follows procedures when working with pressurized equipment and critical safety devices.
