Job Description
We are seeking a Front-End Developer with strong expertise in React Native to design, develop, and support Point of Sale (POS) client applications. The ideal candidate will have experience building scalable, high-performance retail applications, integrating with backend services, and delivering seamless in-store user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L4 engineering support for NGPOS front-end applications and POS client solutions.
- Troubleshoot production incidents, support Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and assist with implementing permanent fixes.
- Maintain and enhance React/React Native applications, user interfaces, and front-end integrations.
- Collaborate on defect triage, prioritization, and resolution for front-end applications.
- Deliver application enhancements, usability improvements, and minor feature development.
- Support API integrations and connectivity with backend services and store peripherals.
- Support release activities, deployment validation, and post-release stabilization.
- Create technical documentation and knowledge articles and participate in knowledge transfer activities, where applicable.
- Partner in continuous improvement initiatives focused on application stability, performance, and operational excellence.
- 4+ years of experience in front-end application development.
- Strong hands-on experience with React Native and TypeScript.
- Experience consuming GraphQL APIs and integrating with backend services.
- Knowledge of Redux/Context API, state management, and component-based architecture.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
- Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with POS, retail, or store technology platforms.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest and Playwright.
- Experience working with peripheral devices such as printers, scanners, and payment terminals.
