Our team tracks over $5billion of construction project costs. We work with project managers thatbuildand develop the most innovative and impactful projects in the US. This Project Cost Control Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the financial execution of capital projects across development andconstruction. This role ensures that project budgets are accurately tracked, variances are analyzed, and financial controls aremaintained using SAP Investment Management andSAPFunds Management. The analyst will collaborate closely with project managers, developers, and finance leadership to ensure cost transparency and accountability to deliver projects on time and on budget. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Partner with project managers topublishandmaintain project budgets and forecasts. 

• Monitor and report on capital expenditures (CapEx) and operational expenditures (OpEx) against approved budgets. 

• Perform monthly variance analysis and provide insights on cost drivers and trends. 

• Support theprocess ofbudgetreallocation, budget increase, and contingency drawdown requests whileensuring compliance with internal controls and board approval thresholds. 

• Maintain and reconcile projectactual, commitment and forecast data in SAP within our cost breakdown structure (CBS/WBS). 

• Assist in the monthly and quarterly financial close processes, including accruals and reporting deliverables. 

• Collaborate with Accounting & APto improve data accuracy and reporting processes. 

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of cost control processes and tools, including Power BI dashboards and SAP enhancements. 

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field. 

• 2–4 years of experience in FP&A,CostControl, orBusiness Intelligence, preferably in the energy or infrastructure sector. 

• Proficiency in SAPor similarly complex ERP tool (SAPInvestment Management andSAPFunds Management modules preferred). 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. 

• Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel userrequired. 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work cross-functionally.
