Pay Range: $28 - $30/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and manage the 3D Print Lab, ensuring safe and efficient daily operations.
- Convert engineering CAD models into printed parts through proper print preparation, build setup, material selection, and post-processing.
- Coordinate and prioritize 3D printing requests from multiple engineering teams.
- Produce parts for full-scale mockups, rapid prototypes, tooling, and engineering demonstrations.
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot 3D printers and associated equipment.
- Communicate project status and expectations throughout the print process.
- High School Diploma.
- Ability to work in a hands-on technical environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software applications.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate with engineering and design teams.
- Associate degree, technical certification, or vocational training in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Design, Additive Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Experience operating or maintaining 3D printing equipment.
- Technician experience supporting engineering organizations.
- Experience working with CAD models and engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with aerospace products, especially with Gas Turbine Engines.
- Understanding of engineering design, prototyping, and product development workflows.
- Strong customer service mindset with a focus on responsiveness and quality.
