Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking an experiencedSenior Test Data Management Engineer / Test Data Architect to lead the design, implementation, and management of enterprise test data solutions.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in database technologies, test data management (TDM) tools, data masking, automation, and CI/CD integration. This role requires close collaboration with QA, development, DevOps, data engineering, and business teams to ensure the availability of accurate, secure, and reliable test data across multiple testing environments.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end test data management strategy for QA, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and performance testing.
  • Design, create, provision, refresh, mask, and maintain test data across multiple environments.
  • Work with enterprise databases, including Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and DB2.
  • Develop and optimize SQL scripts and automated solutions for test data creation, extraction, and validation.
  • Implement data masking, anonymization, and synthetic test data generation solutions to protect sensitive information.
  • Manage test data requests, dependencies, refresh cycles, and environment synchronization.
  • Integrate test data management processes with CI/CD and DevOps pipelines to support automated testing and continuous delivery.
  • Collaborate with QA, development, DevOps, data engineering, and business teams to identify and fulfill test data requirements.
  • Establish test data governance standards, audit controls, and reusable processes to improve efficiency and compliance.
  • Troubleshoot data-related defects, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior TDM and QA engineers.
Preferred Technical Skills
  • SQL & Databases: Strong SQL programming skills and experience with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DB2, and other enterprise databases.
  • Test Data Management Tools: Experience with Delphix, Informatica Test Data Management, IBM InfoSphere Optim, or similar tools.
  • Data Security: Knowledge of data masking, anonymization, and synthetic test data generation.
  • ETL & Data Integration: Understanding of ETL processes, data integration concepts, and data transformation techniques.
  • API Testing: Experience with API testing and test automation.
  • CI/CD & DevOps: Familiarity with Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools.
  • Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in Python, Java, or Shell scripting.
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience working with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
  • Development Methodologies: Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
