Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking an experiencedClaims & Automation Development Lead (Development Lead III) to provide technical leadership, oversee development teams, and drive the successful delivery of technology products and solutions.
The ideal candidate will collaborate with delivery leads, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure technology solutions align with business objectives, architectural standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and oversee teams of software developers and engineers, providing technical guidance, vision, and strategic direction for the value stream.
- Drive development outcomes in collaboration with delivery leads, solution architects, and cross-functional teams.
- Promote engineering best practices and ensure high-quality technical delivery.
- Provide leadership and direction throughout the development lifecycle.
- Ensure technology solutions are designed and developed to meet business requirements and objectives.
- Lead the engineering, development, and delivery of assigned products, services, and technology solutions.
- Take ownership of products and solutions throughout their lifecycle, from initial development through maintenance and decommissioning.
- Ensure solutions comply with applicable regulatory, risk management, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with architects to ensure technical designs align with business requirements and established architectural standards.
- Ensure technical solutions support the architectural runway and long-term technology strategy.
- Identify and manage technical dependencies, architectural improvements, and technical debt.
- Create and maintain Epics to capture technical dependencies and address technical debt.
- Support MBI analysis and ensure the development team understands the associated objectives and requirements.
- Ensure Epics are appropriately defined, sized, and estimated using suitable estimation methodologies.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to support effective planning, prioritization, and execution.
- Ensure alignment between business needs, technical requirements, and development deliverables.
