JOB DESCRIPTION
Techno-Functional Quality Engineer / Automation Tester
Mandatory Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright using TypeScript and/or Python.
- Proven expertise in UI, API, and Database test automation.
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or TypeScript, with the ability to build and maintain scalable automation frameworks and reusable components.
- Experience with API testing tools, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and test reporting frameworks.
- Experience with AI-assisted test automation tools or intelligent automation frameworks is an added advantage.
- Solid understanding of functional testing, including the ability to:
- Analyze business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Design and execute functional, integration, progression, and regression test scenarios.
- Collaborate effectively with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Developers to ensure complete test coverage.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments with a quality-first mindset.
- Knowledge of the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain.
- Experience with Mainframe testing, including:
- Validation of legacy applications.
- Integration testing between mainframe and distributed systems.
