Job Description:
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced C++ Linux Developer with Scrum Master expertise to lead the design, development, and delivery of software solutions for regulated medical devices.
This role combines hands-on software development with Agile leadership responsibilities, ensuring high-quality product delivery while fostering a collaborative and continuously improving development environment.
The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in C++, Linux, embedded systems, and medical device software development, along with proven experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and leading cross-functional Agile teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using C++ on Linux platforms.
- Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, code reviews, and technical decision-making.
- Develop multithreaded, high-performance applications with a strong emphasis on reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Debug and troubleshoot software issues across application, middleware, and Linux operating system layers.
- Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Quality, Verification, and Product teams to implement software requirements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and software development artifacts.
- Ensure compliance with medical device software development processes, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
- Support software verification, validation, defect analysis, and risk mitigation activities.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
- Identify and remove impediments to improve team productivity and delivery efficiency.
- Coach development teams on Scrum principles, Agile methodologies, and best practices.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain healthy, prioritized product backlogs.
- Monitor sprint progress and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among distributed onsite and offshore teams.
- Track Agile metrics and support release planning, forecasting, and delivery commitments.
Programming
- Expert-level proficiency in C++ development.
- Strong experience with modern C++ (C++11/14/17 preferred).
- Solid understanding of object-oriented design and design patterns.
