Data Clean Room Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)

Top 5 Must-Have Skills:
  • 5–7 years of experience in Data Engineering, Marketing Technology, or Identity Infrastructure
  • 2+ years of experience with Data Clean Rooms (LiveRamp Clean Room/Habu preferred; InfoSum, AWS Clean Rooms, or Google Ads Data Hub acceptable)
  • Strong experience writing Clean Room query logic, SQL, UDFs, and privacy-safe analytics
  • Knowledge of Identity Resolution (RampID, deterministic/probabilistic matching, match optimization)
  • Experience building cloud-based data pipelines using AWS, GCP, or Azure with Python and/or Spark
 
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Data Clean Room Engineer to support privacy-first data collaboration initiatives within a regulated enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data clean room technologies, cloud-based data engineering, identity resolution, and privacy-preserving analytics.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain data clean room solutions using LiveRamp Clean Room (Habu) or comparable platforms such as InfoSum, AWS Clean Rooms, or Google Ads Data Hub.
  • Author and optimize clean room query logic, User Defined Functions (UDFs), and publisher-constrained analytical models.
  • Develop complex SQL queries that comply with privacy-safe computation standards, including suppression rules, aggregation thresholds, and noise budget requirements.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize scalable cloud-based data pipelines using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Implement data transformation workflows using Python and/or Apache Spark.
  • Support identity resolution processes, including deterministic and probabilistic matching techniques, RampID integration, and match-rate optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations such as GLBA, CCPA, and other applicable state privacy laws.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, analytics, and business teams to deliver secure, privacy-compliant data collaboration solutions.
 
Required Qualifications:
  • 5–7 years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Marketing Technology, or Identity Infrastructure.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience working in Data Clean Room environments.
  • Strong preference for experience with LiveRamp Clean Room (Habu).
  • Experience with InfoSum, AWS Clean Rooms, or Google Ads Data Hub is also acceptable.
  • Demonstrated experience authoring clean room question logic and User Defined Functions (UDFs).
  • Strong SQL development skills with expertise in privacy-preserving analytical patterns.
  • Solid understanding of identity resolution concepts, including deterministic and probabilistic matching methodologies.
  • Experience with RampID or similar persistent identity frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience building cloud-based data pipelines using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Proficiency with Python and/or Spark for data transformation.
  • Knowledge of privacy regulations applicable to financial services or other regulated industries.
