Position Summary
Seeking a hands-on Data Engineer to develop, optimize, and support enterprise data solutions on the Snowflake platform. The role will focus on building scalable data pipelines, enabling data integration, supporting analytics and AI initiatives, and ensuring reliable, secure, and high-performing data products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop data pipelines using Snowflake, SQL, Python, dbt, and Matillion.
- Build and maintain ELT/ETL frameworks and data integrations.
- Optimize Snowflake performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Implement data quality, monitoring, and automation solutions.
- Support production incidents, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with Architecture, Analytics, Platform Engineering, and Business teams.
- Follow SDLC, governance, security, and compliance standards.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of Data Engineering experience.
- Strong expertise in:
- Snowflake
- SQL & Query Optimization
- Python
- dbt
- Matillion
- Data Modeling & Data Warehousing
- Experience with GitHub, CI/CD, and production support.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills
- SnowPro Certification
- Experience with Fivetran, Striim, Control-M, AWS, or Salesforce integrations.
- Exposure to Snowflake Cortex, AI/ML enablement, and automation frameworks.
