Position Details
- Role Name: Networking Software Development Specialist
- Work Location: Irvine, CA (Onsite)
- Start Date: Immediate Availability

- Employment Type: Possible 3-Month Contract-to-Hire (CTH)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 8+ years of relevant software development experience.
- Strong hands-on networking software development experience, including:
- Routing protocols and network routing
- DNS (Domain Name System)
- DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol)
- VLANs (Virtual Local Area Networks)
- Must have practical, hands-on development experience with networking technologies. Theoretical knowledge alone is not sufficient.
- Strong hands-on development experience with Golang (Go programming language).
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience working in Scrum-based software development environments with rapid iteration cycles, including two-week sprints.
- Experience with Agile development tools and practices, including:
- Jira and Confluence
- Git/GitLab
- CI/CD pipelines
- Source code management and branching strategies
- Automated testing tools
- Static code analysis
- Familiarity with object-oriented design and development principles, including the effective use of interfaces.
- Experience with Wi-Fi networking technologies and related software development.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software development best practices.
