Job Description
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilledSAS Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain SAS-based applications and data solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SAS programming, data analysis, ETL processes, and database integration to support business reporting and analytics initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize SAS programs, macros, and scripts to support business and technical requirements.
- Design, develop, and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for efficient data integration and management.
- Analyze large datasets and perform data validation, cleansing, and quality assurance checks.
- Create, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytical models using SAS tools.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and project teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve data processing errors, application issues, and performance-related problems.
- Conduct unit testing, participate in code reviews, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for SAS programs.
- Ensure compliance with organizational data governance policies, security standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Support production deployments, monitor application performance, and provide ongoing maintenance and technical support.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAS programming, including the development and maintenance of SAS programs, macros, and scripts.
- Experience designing and implementing ETL processes.
- Proficiency in data analysis, data validation, data cleansing, and quality assurance.
- Experience working with large datasets and integrating SAS applications with databases.
- Knowledge of reporting, dashboard development, and analytical modeling using SAS tools.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with unit testing, code reviews, and technical documentation.
- Understanding of data governance, security, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with business and technical teams.
