Job Description
Position Summary
We are seeking an experiencedAccounting & Performance Support Analyst with strong expertise inEagle STAR and Eagle PACE to provide application and operational support for investment accounting and performance management systems.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the stability, accuracy, and efficiency of portfolio accounting, performance measurement, security master data, and related investment operations processes.
Eagle STAR and Eagle PACE are critical platforms supporting multicurrency portfolio accounting, performance measurement, data management, and downstream system integrations within PQS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day production and application support for Eagle STAR and Eagle PACE platforms.
- Monitor, investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve accounting, performance, pricing, and data quality exceptions.
- Support portfolio accounting, performance measurement, attribution, and benchmark processes.
- Analyze and resolve reconciliation discrepancies involving investment positions, cash balances, and performance results.
- Collaborate with Operations, Performance, Portfolio Management, Compliance, and Technology teams to investigate issues and implement effective solutions.
- Perform data analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause investigations using SQL and Eagle application tools.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting and performance processing activities.
- Coordinate with BNY Eagle support teams to address vendor-related issues, system upgrades, and application enhancements.
- Develop and maintain operational procedures, support documentation, and knowledge-sharing materials.
- Ensure timely resolution of production issues while maintaining data integrity, system stability, and operational efficiency.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience supporting Eagle STAR and Eagle PACE platforms.
- Strong understanding of investment accounting, portfolio accounting, and performance measurement concepts.
- Experience with security master data, corporate actions, pricing, and reconciliation processes.
- Proficiency in SQL querying, data analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of Oracle or other relational database systems.
- Experience providing production support for business-critical investment applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors.
