Urologist - Dothan, Alabama

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Urologist who is either board-certified or board-eligible to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both outpatient and hospital-based urological procedures, providing comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services. You will work in a collaborative environment alongside 5 experienced physicians and 2 nurse practitioners, offering state-of-the-art care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of adult urologic conditions in both outpatient and hospital settings.

• Perform procedures such as cystoscopies, prostate biopsies, complex urodynamics, and extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL).

• Conduct advanced surgical treatments, including da Vinci robotic-assisted prostatectomy, partial nephrectomy, vasectomy reversals, and urological reconstructions.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff to provide patient-centered care.

• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in urological treatments and procedures.

• Provide compassionate care, ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction at all times.

• Participate in continuing medical education (CME) and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Urology.

• Proficiency in cystoscopies, prostate biopsies, robotic-assisted surgeries (e.g., da Vinci prostatectomy), and urological reconstruction.

• Experience with extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) and vasectomy reversals is preferred.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
